Global Construction Company Raises Money to Support Skilled Trades Education
STUART, Fla. — VCG International (VCGI) was a proud Gold Sponsor at the 36th Annual Treasure Coast Builders Association (TCBA) Fishing Tournament. The event was held on May 27-28 at the Pirates Cove Resort & Marina in Stuart. Partial tournament proceeds benefit the TCBA Charitable Fund, which provides scholarships to students for college or technical training programs in the construction industry.
The two-day event kicked off on May 27 with registration check-in, a reception, a mandatory captions meeting, and a silent/live auction. On May 28, fishing began at 6:15 a.m., following a weigh-in at 12 p.m. and an awards ceremony. Cash prizes in the offshore division are paid to 1st, 2nd and 3rd place in five categories including heaviest dolphin, king, wahoo, snapper and grouper. For the inshore catch and release event, the winners are determined by the highest total combined inches of their largest snook, trout, tarpon or redfish. The lucky 1st, 2nd, 3rd place winners win cash and prizes.
